§ 10.03. Officers and employees.

(a)

Council members and the mayor, shall continue to hold office for the term to which they were elected or appointed, except upon resignation, removal, disability or death.

(b)

All city employees holding a city position at the time this Charter take effect, and who are serving in that same or comparable position at the time of its adoption, shall not be subject to any requalification as a condition of continuance in the same position.
